David Berkowitz RECOGNITION Patent, Static Battery and Voltage Reference Level Switch ACCOMPLISHMENTS Before joining Advanced Energy, David Berkowitz worked with the Westinghouse Electric Corporation for 19 years in a variety of roles including special projects engineer, energy management marketing consultant and regional manager of technical studies. He also worked for firms including DGB Associates and MX-COM Inc. in consulting, sales and marketing positions. Berkowitz worked with Siemens Power Transmission and Distribution Inc. as a senior application and sales engineer. Today, Berkowitz is a valued member of the organization’s Industrial and Commercial Solutions team. He facilitates the successful delivery of innovative product and service developments, focusing on the OEM market segment. He is responsible for business development, working with existing and potential clients to identify specific testing needs and find workable solutions. MY PHILOSOPHY ON ENERGY EFFICIENCY The concepts of energy efficiency and economic profitability are not mutually exclusive. Through the proper selection of motors and drives in the design of equipment and sensible application of your equipment and systems, end users will see significant energy savings and more reliable performance. This end result is obviously a good thing for the end user, however, the system supplier (OEM) that manufactured the equipment will benefit as well through establishing a reputation for producing quality products.
