Alan Butler, Senior Vice President of Weaver Cooke Construction in Greensboro, joined Advanced Energy's Board of Directors in April 1989.

An alumnus of Campbell University, Butler is past president of the Carolinas' Chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services. He has been involved in energy-related activities since 1975, working with design and construction firms.
