ACCOMPLISHMENTS

David Treleven manages Advanced Energy's affordable housing program SystemVision. He also provides technical and field support for Enterprise Green Communities, North Carolina Housing Finance Agency's Supportive Housing Program and various other projects.

Before joining Advanced Energy, Treleven worked for Appalachia Service Project, an emergency home repair organization. He was responsible for housing volunteers, planning projects, teaching construction skills and overseeing the budget. Treleven helped more than 100 families make their homes warmer, safer and dryer.

Treleven also worked as a construction coordinator at Rebuilding Gainesville and as an assistant superintendent at Cambridge Builders and Contractors. During an 11-month position with AmeriCorps, he helped Advanced Energy run its SystemVision program.

MY PHILOSOPHY ON ENERGY EFFICIENCY

In a perfect world, the built environment would not use any resources, nor create any waste. This may be unachievable, but we should strive to accomplish it. As a result, we will always improve upon our processes, products, equipment and structures.
